GLOBAL INFORMATION AND SOCIAL RESOURCE FOUNDATION
(GISRF)
GISRF is a unique “mission oriented” non-profit organization playing a multiple role in helping and guiding people in rural communities of how they can self-reliantly improve on their livelihoods, through establishment of community-based programmes/project initiatives.
GISRF was founded in 2018 by Dr. Ndahira Assuman after his two (2016 – 2017) years research “globally” on social economic and cultural problems that had kept people in the imprisonment of poverty (a Human Enemy), where the youth group had started channeling their energies to very risky activities to earn a living, and condemned women to the life of bagging and hopelessness.
Nonetheless, GISRF got formally registered by Uganda Registration Service Bureau (URSB) with Reg. Certificate No: 8002000256331 to gain recognition and legality for our operation and service delivery.
Currently we are operating in Nansana Wakiso District where we have our head office and, collaborating with community leaders in up-country where we intend to open coordinating offices/branches to address the social economic problem of children whose population is 46% of Uganda population and youth is 78%, and women whose population is 50.47%, putting emphasis on gender inequality problems and domestic violence as they’re the driving forces of backwardness in rural communities.
Overall goal
Our goal is to have a society where citizens are sustainably coexisting harmoniously, enjoying their human rights in full and self-reliantly socio-economically productive, healthy and able to educate their children..
