Children and Youth’s Social – Welfare Support
Global Information and Social resource Foundation feel concerned when our society looks at the children and youth’s social welfare problems in isolation, while they are the means and progress of our society development and the world at large. We should note that, these children deserve love, good nutrition healthcare, security, and a bright future to enable them reach and enjoy the potentials they were born with.
Global information and social resource foundation finds it important to discuss “as we always do” the future of children and youth with them and help them set realistic – attainable goals and encourage them to identify possible ways around the barriers to their goals.
Children in developing countries where Uganda “our country” is inclusive, face many challenges ranging from failure to access education, exploitation through child labour, sexual abuse of female gender, lack of security and social care and support which have drove many to streets of Kampala and the neibourhood to find an alternative for their life.
Since 2020, when Global Information and Social Resource Foundation become operational, we first focused on children and youth’s social welfare challenges because they are vulnerable to abuse, exploitation, and neglect a situation that can impact their emotional, physical and psychological development. This is why we decided to invest in children and youth so that we shape the future of the society, foster a more healthier, more compassionate and productive communities.
In order to help vulnerable children, and youth realize their potentials and help them get a bright future, GISRF have started promoting their talents through hand crafts making and art painting, and offering them education sponsorship to help them attain quality education and professional skills in different areas of professions.
