Advocacy campaigns
Global information and social resource foundation (GISRF) is committed to defend people’s interests and rights through advocacy campaigns and legal representation putting emphasis on gender equality, as most people in our communities do not know the laws governing their rights, on which social and political extremists always take advantage of their ignorance and deprive them of their property possessions, freedom of speech, freedom of expression and freedom of rights. This advocacy and legal representation have helped many people know how they can defend themselves and fight for their rights in conflict situations.
GISRF uses advocacy campaigns and conflict resolution as our key strategy in influencing decisions, policies, or attitudes that affect a group or community. We do public support, raise awareness, and push for changes that benefit the communities in which we operate. Our Advocacy campaign focus on various issues like;
a) Social justice
b) Human rights
c) Education
d) Environmental protection
While in Conflict resolution we focus on resolving conflicts amicably using win-win approach, where disagreements in communities raise up, with the purpose of finding a peaceful and mutually acceptable solution to the conflict in question, which may have arisen due to various reasons such as;
a) Cultural and religious differences
b) Resource competition
c) Power struggle
d) Communication breakdown, which requires;

– Understanding different perspectives
– Finding common ground
– Negotiation and mediation, which are crucial in conflict resolution in
communities for maintaining social cohesion, building trust, and promoting peaceful coexistence, a norm the Global Information and Social Resource Foundation takes of importance in making a more harmonious and just community.
